Located approximately 50 km south of Prague, Jemniště Château is a magnificent Baroque residence surrounded by a romantic English-style park. Built in the early 18th century by renowned architect F. M. Kaňka, the château has belonged to the noble Sternberg family for generations and offers an elegant, intimate setting for a fairy-tale wedding.
The beautifully preserved interiors, charming courtyards and picturesque gardens create a wonderful atmosphere for your special day. Jemniště offers both civil and religious wedding ceremonies, as well as vow renewals. Civil ceremonies can take place in elegant historical halls, the Giardinetto, Rosarium or the beautiful Chapel of St. Joseph. Religious ceremonies are held in the magnificent Baroque chapel, decorated with exquisite frescoes and sculptures.
For your wedding celebration, the château can arrange a wedding lunch for up to 60 guests. Please note that evening wedding receptions and dinners are not available. The château also offers just three beautifully furnished apartments, providing an exclusive and romantic overnight stay for the newlyweds or a small number of guests.
The enchanting château gardens and park offer countless opportunities for unforgettable wedding photographs, with outdoor photography permitted free of charge. Photography inside the château can also be arranged upon request for a small additional fee.
