О: You are welcomed to collect our references from the couples we have worked with in the past; a legally binding Service Contract Agreement is put in place to give us the authority to encompass all duties relevant to securing your wedding plans. Cosmopolites’ Wedding Agency is legally recognized and fully certified company by the Czech law.

О: We would strongly recommend booking your wedding date minimum 6 months in advance. The main wedding season in the Czech Republic is between March and October, together with the month of December.

О: Up to three days from the booking and signing of the Service Contract Agreement, you will be asked to send via email scanned copies of requested Legal Documents. All requested originals or certified copies of the documents should be sent via post to our Prague’s office to be in Prague 30 days prior the wedding day; we would strongly advise you to send all the information as soon as possible. Please contact us for more details.
Please note: all the certifications, translations and so on must not be older than 6 (3 in some cases) months prior to your wedding.

О: In many cases the couple decides to create the celebration only for themselves. No guests, no friends, only Bride, Groom and romantic atmosphere. In such occurrences we would be happy to provide you with our witnesses, as requested by the Czech law. So you can bravely come alone.

О: Yes, last minute weddings are possible and Cosmopolites’ Wedding Agency is here to assist you. The prerequisites are different for all nationalities; please contact us for more details.

О: The payment is usually carried out in several installments. Till three working days from the booking and signing of the Service Contract Agreement, you will be asked to pay a non-refundable booking fee of 30 % of the Basic package’s price as well as non-refundable total price of the Certificates of no Impediment to Marriage if would be arranged by Cosmopolites’ Wedding Agency. The overall balance is payable by arrival, at least 1 days prior the wedding day.
The payments are in most cases made by a secure bank transfer or we can offer you to make the balance payment in cash.

О: Visa for the citizens of all EU countries is not required. For citizens of USA and recently Canada and Australia, visas are also not required. For citizens of any other country we would strongly advise you to confirm the travel arrangements with the Czech Embassy in your country, or Cosmopolites’ Wedding Agency would be happy to provide you with up-to-date information.

О: Most Czech governmental offices have office hours on Monday and Wednesday therefore you are requested to arrive in Prague, Czech Republic minimum 3 working days prior to their wedding day in order to complete the administration. During this time you will also have a chance to get accustomed to the atmosphere of the city and begin to enjoy you staying.

О: Neither health checks nor any medical documentation are required by the Czech law.

О: According to the country of your origin all of the documents issued in your country (except documents for religious weddings) could need legalization with a governmental stamp called an APOSTILLE that certifies documents of foreign origin for use in the Czech Republic.
Apostille is the legalization of a document for international use under the terms of the 1961 Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization for Foreign Public Documents. Documents which have been notarized by a notary public, and certain other documents, and then certified with a conformant Apostille are accepted for legal use in all the nations that have signed the Hague Convention.

О: Yes, pre-wedding visits are possible. According to the type of wedding and your requirements, we will create a one day program for you. Pre-wedding visit allows the client together with his personal wedding coordinator to visit the possible ceremony and celebration venues. Number of such Venues that can be visited during one inspection trip is 5 (venues = reception/ ceremony places; hotel/ luxury apartments). Complementary from the company 2 hours of coordinator work is free of charge. Every extra hour of escort service is payable according to our price list.
Transportation requires extra surcharge.
