Kaiserstejnsky Palace (Kaiserštejnský palác), known also as the Palace Aliprandi, was built in the XVII century. The Palace is located in the heart of Old Prague in Mala Strana district, near the Charles Bridge. One of its names Palace received on the honor of its builder — the famous Italian architect Giovanni Battista Aliprandi.
This original Renaissance style building truly can be considered as one of the many architectural masterpieces of Prague. Throughout its history Kaiserstejnsky Palace was owned by many outstanding Czech officials, politicians, members of the royal families. Often, the Palace was the venue for balls and pompous celebrations.
