The former residence of Earl Karel Pacht is a cultural and architectural artifacts of Prague. Residence was made be the merger of the palaces to the baroque classical palace, which was built around the elegant courtyard of the XVIII century, where wedding ceremonies held today. History of the Pachtuv Palace tightly associated with the greatest names from the musical world. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, an admirer of Prague, had lived, worked and played in the palace. The Earl Pacht once «imprisoned » the composer at his apartment for two hours, wanting the performance of his «Six Dances». In 1832 Wagner also lived in Pachtuv Palace.
